New Volkswagen Scirocco will start from £20,455, with prices rising to £33,795. First delivers expected in October
The facelifted Volkswagen Scirocco will start from £20,455 for the entry-level 124bhp 1.4-litre TSI petrol model. Prices rise to £33,795 for top spec Scirocco R models, powered by the 277bhp 2.0-litre TSI engine.
The biggest changes to the updated model include a subtly redesigned front and rear end along with a 19 per cent improvement in efficiency. Standard kit across the range now includes LED tail lights, DAB radio, touchscreen infotainment system, alloy wheels, Bluetooth and air-conditioning. All of which will be fitted to entry-level Scirocco spec models (£20,455 – £24,675).
Mid-spec GT models also come with sat nav, climate control, rear privacy glass, 18-inch alloys and rear parking sensors (£22,305 – £27,525). More premium R-Line spec adds sportier front and rear bumpers, 19-inch alloys, R-Line specific interior trim and electrically adjustable sport seats (£27,840 – £29,500).

Range-topping R models comes with unique exterior styling, bi-xenon headlights, R-specific sports seats, dynamic chassis control and a 10mm drop in ride height (£32,295 – £33,795).
Engine options are made up of four petrol and two diesel motors. The petrol range kicks off with a 124bhp 1.4-litre turbo and a new 178bhp 2.0-litre petrol replaces the old 158bhp version of the 1.4-litre engine. More powerful 217bhp and 277bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged engines are also offered.
The two diesel engines are both 2.0-litre units, with either 148bhp or 182bhp. All engines come with a standard six-speed manual gearbox with the option of a six-speed DSG – with the exception of the entry-level 1.4-litre TSI.
