IGNITION ORANGE SPORT AND BLACK SPORT WILL BE LIMITED TO 1,000 EXAMPLES EACH
Ram has announced two new limited edition versions of the 1500 Sport pickup, both of which will be limited to just 1,000 examples each. The two models will feature interior and exterior appearance upgrades that will set them apart from the standard versions of the pickup while adding a little individuality.
The two limited-edition trucks will be available in Crew Cab 4x2 and 4x4 form, with the Sport trim denoting the presence of a HEMI V8 good for 395 hp connected to an eight-speed TorqueFlite transmission. The Sport models, as standard equipment, also features 20-inch wheels, a 3.92 gear set, dual exhaust pipes, and a vented hood. Both trucks will also feature a backup camera as standard equipment, and the 8.4AN Uconnect infotainment system with navigation.
The Ram 1500 Ignition Orange Sport will feature body color accent stitching, accent color for the Ram's head on the headrests, Sport embroidery on the seat backs, a colored accent sport mesh for the seat inserts, and of course a limited-edition bright orange paint.

The Ram 1500 Black Sport, on the other hand, will feature Light Black chrome accents and black leather for the interior, in addition to a sport hood and the equipment listed above. Both models will be offered at a $1,595 premium over the Sport models on which they are based, with the Ram 1500 Sport Crew in 4x2 form starting at $42,215.
"Adding limited edition Ignition Orange and Black Sport models will give our buyers a custom appearance on an already eye-catching truck with all the capability our customers expect," said Bob Hegbloom, President and CEO of the Ram Truck brand.
Ram has started taking orders for the trucks this week, with production set to start in April of this year.
