2015 Chevy Colorado GearOn to debut at Chicago Auto Show

ACCEPTS ACCESSORIES FOR SURF, SAND AND SNOW

The 2015 Chevy Colorado GearOn Special Edition will debut at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show on Feb. 12.

The GearOn accessory system provides all sorts of mounting points for bikes, kayaks, skis, paddle boards and a bed-mounted tent. We’re guessing not all at the same time. Many of those mounting points set equipment on the upper rails, leaving space in the bed for more gear. This truck was built for glamping.

The special edition comes with the GearOn bars package, divider package and cargo tie-down rings. More accessories can be purchased separately, but they can be rolled into the monthly payment if they’re chosen before taking delivery.

“Chevrolet Colorado answers the call for customers who have passions of all types, and the GearOn accessory system enables them to bring more adventure wherever they go,” said Tony Johnson, Colorado marketing manager. “And with Colorado offering segment-leading efficiency and capabilities, it’s a combination that maximizes adventure without compromise.”

Additional content includes the EZ Lift tailgate, off-road steps, glossy black 18-inch wheels, body-color grille, black bowtie emblems, fog lamps and remote start.

The GearOn Special Edition goes on sale this spring for $31,250. It’s offered on LT models in extended or crew cab setups, with the long or short bed.
