Did Neil Young just confirm the 2016 Lincoln Continental?

Rocker's audio company could have tech in the next big sedan

    Legendary musician Neil Young earlier this week made an appearance on CNBC's "Mad Money" with Jim Cramer. He was there to talk about his new digital audio service Pono but may have let slip that a new Lincoln Continental is coming our way.

    Young's company began a Kickstarter fundrasing account recently, trying to raise about $800,000. Instead, fans came out in force and contributed more than $6 million in funding. In a video posted to Autoblog, Young talked about the company's technology and the sound quality that it offers; he said he's working on getting it into the 2016 Lincoln Continental. Of course, neither Ford nor Lincoln has mentioned anything about a 2016 Continental.

    UPDATE: We talked to Lincoln, predictably, they would neither confirm nor deny the rumors. They did says we shouldn't get our car rumors from aging rockers. "Are you calling Neil Young a liar?" Said Rory Carroll.
