Undisguised Alfa Romeo 4C Spider pair caught cruisin' in Spain

An already excellent car loses its top

Oh! Hey! It's the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, which we first saw as a concept car earlier this year, running around sunny Andalusia, Spain, sans camouflage. Wait -- make that a pair of Alfa Romeo 4C Spiders, one yellow, one red, wearing absolutely no disguises!

Consider it an early Christmas gift courtesy of motor.es, which posted this video to YouTube.

As you can probably imagine, the Spider is just an Alfa Romeo 4C -- a great car you should endeavor to drive posthaste, by the way -- minus the roof. Or at least a part of the roof; it's really more of a targa than a roadster, but we're not going to complain.

In concept form, at least, the car got fancy carbon-fiber and titanium dual-stage central exhaust system. The cars in the video clip seem to have the regular tailpipes. We're sure the performance is still exhilarating.

Since they didn't even bother covering up the little cars, there's a good chance Alfa is shooting some promotional video here. That would explain the pair of nonplussed models marching back and forth in the background at the two-minute mark. We expect to see this car make its official debut in production trim soon. Stay tuned for more updates and the inevitable rave reviews following our first drive, which we're sure tell you allll about.

In the meantime, why not try to finagle your way into a coupe? There may or may not be an Alfa Romeo dealership near you..
