2015 Volkswagen Passat Limited Edition replaces Wolfsburg, SE model

NEW VW SEDAN GETS $24,815 PRICE TAG

Volkswagen slipped a new Limited Edition trim into its Passat lineup, replacing both the Wolfsburg and base SE trims. It costs $1,555 more than the S model but gets $2,755 worth of additional equipment, according to VW.

The LE comes standard with 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, a rearview camera, leatherette seats (heated in front), a power driver’s seat with power lumbar, touchscreen radio with Sirius, eight speakers, a leather-wrapped wheel and chrome window surrounds.

Like the trims it replaces, the Passat Limited Edition comes with a 1.8-liter turbocharged four making 170 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic sends power to the front wheels, and mileage is rated at 24 mpg city and 36 mpg highway.

The 2015 Passat Limited Edition starts at $24,815, including destination, and will arrive at dealerships soon.
